INNAT HBT JACKET

This utility shirt jacket is inspired by the OG107 shirts from the 1960s. The silhouette has been adjusted and the name tape on the chest is deliberately sewn on the inside to reinforce the chest pocket. The material is an original fine-gauge cupro ripstop fabric woven in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture. Cupro is a regenerated fibre made from cotton linter, the downy fuzz around cotton seeds, and is known for its moisture absorption properties. This cupro is an ultra-fine material that is exclusive to Japan and has been subject to a wash treatment which softens the sheen and gives it a wrinkled texture with a relaxed and gentle feel. The fabric combines the delicate, sheer quality typical of cupro with the durability of ripstop, commonly used in military, work, and outdoor gear, creating a harmonious blend of

contrasting characteristics. The Pink is dyed with madder root; Khaki is dyed with pomegranate treated with aluminium mordant, and Sumi black is dyed with botanical hybrid dye extracted from binchotan charcoal. This shirt jacket is recommended as a light layer during hot summer months.
