INNAT SAS SHORTS (3COL)

Inspired by the design of the 1940s British Army SAS over trousers, these shorts retain the large patch pocket design above the left knee while adjusting the pattern and fit around the waist. Similar to the over trousers, the waist has a roomy fit but is improved with two tucks and inserted flat elastic for a better fit. Like last year’s PAJAMA SHORTS, these are designed to sit above the knee in length with the same hem finish. The material used is a high-density woven cotton-nylon weather cloth. The difference in dye uptake between cotton and nylon creates a deep, nuanced colour. This item is hand-dyed by skilled artisans using Bengala dye which utilises iron extracted from a copper mine in Takahashi City, Okayama Prefecture, resulting in a unique, uneven texture and depth of colour. Although the fabric differs from the J05 CAGOULE PARKA, it is dyed in the same Bengala color, making it suitable to wear as a set.
