KEARNY was founded in 2013 by designer Fujiki Kumagai. The brand takes its name from Kearny Street in San Francisco, representing the “crossing of history and culture.”

Handcrafted by Japanese artisans, KEARNY continues the increasingly rare tradition of celluloid eyewear craftsmanship. Known for its rich, deep colors, celluloid gradually adapts to the skin over time, developing a distinctive character.

Drawing inspiration from the aesthetics of different eras, KEARNY balances vintage forms with a contemporary perspective to create timeless eyewear made to be worn for years to come.

· Inspired by San Francisco's Grant Avenue in 2015, "GRANT" drew from 1970s American Boston shapes

· Nearly a decade later, "GRANT II" updates the design into a celluloid double-bridge frame

· The rounded Boston shape with a double bridge adds a unique character to the silhouette

· Crafted by kearny's original artisan, it reflects the brand's roots in rare celluloid craftsmanship
