· Engineer pants based on a workwear style produced by Can’t Bust’Em in the 1940s.

· As the fabrics of the period were not sufficiently durable for intensive labor on their own, reinforcing patches were added to each pocket opening to serve a function similar to rivets on jeans.

· Designed with a deep rise and a wide silhouette that remains generous from the thigh through the hem.

· Finished with original nut buttons made from natural palm nuts, offering a soft and warm character.

Fabric

· Crafted from high-density West Point cloth woven on traditional power looms and finished with a cold-mercerization process.

· West Point cloth is a type of chino fabric named after the uniforms of the United States Military Academy at West Point.

· Compared with conventional chino cloth, it uses finer two-ply combed cotton yarns woven at high density for a refined luster and elevated appearance.

· The fabric is said to have been developed for use in senior officers’ uniforms.
