T.T / Taiga Takahashi Established in New York, the namesake brand Taiga Takahashi launched its Autumn/Winter 2021 collection under the philosophy of "reviving the relics of the past in the present, to excavate the archaeological artifacts of the future," creating menswear-focused collections under the label T.T. Browsing through the collections, one can feel Takahashi's deep fascination with American and European garments from the early 1900s. Driven by the belief that "the future is in the past," he presents garments where the modern and the future coexist by utilizing traditional Japanese techniques that are gradually disappearing.
· The denim jacket from the 1920s is one of T.T.'s iconic pieces
· Inspired by the 1920s denim jackets admired by Taiga Takahashi, T.T.'s original denim carries forward the creative spirit of store brands such as Foremost by J.C. Penney
· Woven in Okayama on a vintage shuttle loom, the lightweight 3/1 left-hand twill is made from 100% American organic cotton, preserving the natural irregularity of the yarn
· Rope-dyed warp yarns combine indigo with sulfur dye to create a weathered green cast while retaining a white core
· Specially developed nep yarns are used for the weft and dyed in a slightly yellowed natural shade to express the passage of time
· Finished with a sanforized process to minimize shrinkage
· White-edge selvedge denim is featured on the front facing and the reverse side of the cuffs
· Design details include a single patch pocket, single-stitched front pleats, straight-set sleeves, and flat shoulder lines, creating a distinctive flat silhouette
· Custom-engraved buttons and the buckle back are made from uncoated iron, allowing a natural rust patina to develop over time
· Every detail faithfully follows the construction methods of the 1920s
· The signature leather patch is mud-dyed on Amami Oshima
· Expect approximately 2% to 3% shrinkage after washing

· As the product is dyed with natural dyes, slight color unevenness may occur as a natural characteristic of the fabric
