T.T / Taiga Takahashi Established in New York, the namesake brand Taiga Takahashi launched its Autumn/Winter 2021 collection under the philosophy of "reviving the relics of the past in the present, to excavate the archaeological artifacts of the future," creating menswear-focused collections under the label T.T. Browsing through the collections, one can feel Takahashi's deep fascination with American and European garments from the early 1900s. Driven by the belief that "the future is in the past," he presents garments where the modern and the future coexist by utilizing traditional Japanese techniques that are gradually disappearing.

· Based on a 1930s sports jacket acquired from a New York dealer

· Features rare details, including removable lining buttons and fold-back adjustable cuffs, seldom found on ready-made garments of the period

· The original is believed to be a custom-order leather jacket made to its owner's specifications

· Crafted from horsehide suede with a dense fiber structure and excellent durability

· Firmer and more resilient than cowhide suede while maintaining a fine, velvety surface

· The nap gradually compresses with wear, developing subtle tonal depth and a distinctive patina over time

· Horsehide suede is defined by its durability and refined aging characteristics
