INNAT TYPE-1 TRUCKER JACKET

This trucker jacket is an homage to the TYPE-1 model from a certain denim brand. Adjustments have been made to the silhouette, spacing of the front buttons, and position of the left chest pocket. The material used is a densely woven fabric made from tightly twisted yarn which has undergone Ōmi Sarashi processing. This traditional technique involves exposing the fabric to sunlight while treating it with an alkaline solution made from ashes of burned wood and plants, resulting in a whitened finish which is soft to the touch. The fabric features a unique wrinkled texture and a crisp feel, giving it a dry touch that doesn't cling to the skin. The Pink is dyed with madder root; Beige, dyed with pomegranate treated with copper mordant; and Sumi black is dyed with botanical hybrid dye extracted from binchotan charcoal. This jacket is ideal as a light outerwear piece for early spring or as a shield against air conditioning in summer.
